Wonder where I got the idea for this design?
Well, whenever I get bored at home, I always browse funny videos in YouTube on my laptop.
One Sunday morning, I stumbled upon a hilarious video prank on YouTube. Three girls in an elevator make fun of anyone who comes into the elevator.
The two girls had fart spray and toy which produce the fart effect (and smell), while the third girl acted that she involuntarily farted and says “I’m sorry” to their helpless victims.
The video was deadly funny so I showed it to my uncle who furiously laughed. Then he said:
“You know what, it will be a lot fun If we fart and stink up the place and you don’t have to worry about all the work that it takes to actually go to the bathroom and defecate.”
I found it hilarious! And decided it had to be made into a T-shirt Design

We all know that Heath Ledger did a great job in portraying the character The Joker in the 2008 film Batman: The Dark Knight. For me, there’s no other actor that can depict The Joker’s character than Heath.
This Australian actor made the movie even more interesting doing a demonic, laughing, sadist with no moral attachment towards anybody and plays the chess game of murder, death, backstabbing and robbery. His exaggerated mannerisms and chaotic personality were also impeccable!
Here’s to remembering Heath and his most remarkable portrayal of the role!

This design was born when I was in a university lecture a few years back.
I was really bored and sleepy on that lecture so I doodled with my pen and this was the result –the Mushiepower!
This design was born based on psychedelia and of course one of the favourite video games Mario Brothers. Like the real magic mushroom, this design kind of creates the mood of euphoria and lightness. You may actually feel happy and giggle just by looking at it.. LOL. I made the colors look more vibrant too!

What do you see?
The news today has been flooded with scary and frightening events all over the world –the tsunamis, the earthquakes, and many other calamities.
It’s like the Earth is screaming to us. Complaining of the pains and the wounds we’ve caused her throughout the years.
This series of events have been a wakeup call for me to start taking care of the world we live in. This also has inspired me to make this artwork that, hopefully, can make other people realize of how we treat our environment.

This design isn’t the finest and it is very wordy and simply illustrated yet it gives you a perfect phrase to use when you may be out partying and enjoying the finer things in life?! Retro gaming and in particular the Atari, remember the cartridge games! Chunky i know but incredibly cool these days to have this system and play these games. Space invaders, PacMan and Pong are my favourites! This shirt is a spoof for those people who go out and get a little drunk and become a spaced invader!

Aside from the fun and hip culture of the 60’s and the 70’s, another thing that I love about that era was their use of colloquial language and expressions that are fun to use. I’ll give you a couple of samples:
The ‘Crib’ and going to the ‘Gig’
-The “crib” means going home or going to someone’s house, while the “gig” means work or job.
‘Don’t Be Such A ‘spaz’
-’spaz’ means clumsy or accident prone; if someone tells you this, it means “don’t act stupid”
‘May The Force Be With You’
-From the most popular movie during the 70’s, this line is used whenever two individual part ways; this is an expression which is equivalent to goodbye.
‘Phony’
-this is used to describe a deceitful person; it can also be a “Phony Baloney” or just “Baloney” which is an active form, used to instantly dismiss the phony person or utterance.
‘Bootin’
-as in: Are you going Bootin? “I’m going Roller Bootin” or rollerskating
But my most favorite expressions of the 60’s and the 70’s are:
Far Out Man and Groovy which means “so cool” or “Awesome”

The good old TV; the opiate of the masses. The messenger of all things that are right and wrong in this world. Remember how TV’s used to look with the bunny ears, dials and mono speaker system. Vertical and horizontal tuning VHF, UHF. Wow those were the days. Who knew we would end up with TVs that are paper thin can be as big as a car and you can watch realistic scenes in photo realistic colour and in 3D. Crazy! Well a homage to those days gone by. This TV and a good Atari was all you needed to be fully entertained for days!

The hippy in me loves the retro 60′s and 70′s designs and the fashion back then. I also watch “That 70′s Show” due to this passion for that time of revolution, free love and great music and festivals. Peace and the magic bus! Of course this is a catchy phrase from that time and the shirt reflects the psychedelic nature of artwork and culture back then.

How do you say “Thank you” to someone?
Last year, I was thinking of gift ideas for my mom. I want it to be something creative and personal. Something that’s simple yet heartfelt on her birthday.
Will a birthday card be enough to express my appreciation? Or will a hug be more suitable present for my mom who supported me all my life?
I was about to give up until a bright idea suddenly popped out! Why not combine the two and make it in to a beautiful thank you-shirt.
So I immediately created a design for the shirt and have it printed. My mom loved it! She said that it was like a thank you overload.
